At The Healing Nook Counseling Service PLLC, my mission is to provide high-quality therapy services to individuals, couples, and families facing emotional or psychological difficulties, including trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, among many other things. Hey! I am Jackie, the founder of The Healing Nook Counseling Service PLLC. I am currently licensed to provide mental health counseling as a LPC-Associate in Texas and a LAC in Arkansas, supervised by Melissa Cook M.S. LPC-S. As a non-traditional, divorced/remarried mother and step-mother, as well as a first-generation college student, I proudly graduated from Texas A&M University Texarkana in May of 2025. Over the past 2.5 years, I have worked in crisis intervention and intensive services, and since September 2025, I have been dedicated to supporting children and families in community mental health. Coming from a military family with a culturally diverse background, I am educated in world religions and cultures, which enhances my compassionate support for others. I am an ally to the neurodivergent community, LGBTQIA+, and to all humanity. As a trauma therapist, I strive to provide a safe space for those dealing with anxiety and other challenges.
